Why won't Planet Press Connect workflow activate?

I have requested a license and it activated PPC Designer but the other applications give me an error: “no matching magic number found in the license file.”

There are a couple possible causes for this:

  • An error was made when inputting the Magic Number to generate the license file
  • The Magic Number on the machine has changed and no longer matches the license
  • No Connect Server License is included in the license file you’re using.

In all cases, you’re going to need to call in to the Activations department to resolve this. You can call toll free at 1-866-348-5863

I’ve seen that error message before on Oracle VirtualBox environments, which is currently not supported.

Thanks! I was operating in an Oracle VirtualBox. I moved that VM to vmware and works great.
