I am trying to use PlanetPress Workflow 8, and I cannot get the file to process.
I do get a notification box, which tells me the configuration being sent using a different user account then the one used to install Planet Press WorkFlow could result in a permission and configuration mismatches.
I did try the screen and pass for ol-admin and secret on each module.
I would love whatever advice you have for me

When you say that you cannot get the file to process, can you be more specific? They aren’t grab from whatever input they are coming from? Do you get error messages?
login: ol-admin and password: secret is for the Connect Server. You do not need to add it into each and every Connect plugin.
Simply add it to the Workflow Preferences as so:
Workflow Orange button (from the Workflow Configurator)->Preferences->Behavior->OL Connect. This way it is there for all plugins (unless you need to connect to another Connect server).

My bad…I hadn’t read the title of you post.
Could it be that when you install Connect you forgot to install the server as well?
In the path of my preivous post, can you see what you have under Server address, port?

I have both programs, Workflow and Designer on the same computer.
I am not really familiar with server configurations as of yet, but I just want to send my designer file to workflow (this part works fine) and make a pdf for a finished file. Is there a way to do this without involving server configurations for the time being?

In your case, you’d better open a technical support ticket. It will be a lot easier if someone can remote in and look at your setup.
