I have an issue where jobs are not running fast enough in PReS Connect.
The datamapper and merge engines are fine but I don’t seem to be able to improve the weaver engine.
I’m running one job that is taking about 7 minutes to produce. Of these 7 minutes, over 5 of that is the weaver engine. I only ever see one weaver engine, presumably I will only get one per job, and the processor use never goes above 20% for the weaver engine. Is there a way to encourage the weaver engine to access more processor cores or to make better use of the processor in general? There are plenty of cores available and plenty of memory to play with.
The Job creates around 1400 pages. I have the target speed set to 80 000.
