Unable to throw error from template

I want to throw an error from a template if a dynamic resource is not found. Simple “throw ‘some error’” in a control script does not work.
In Designer I get an error, but when the same template is executed through Workflow there is no error in the log file and the output file is generated.
I’m pretty sure that this worked some time ago, but in the latest version 2024.1.1 it doesn’t.

Any hint on how to make this happen?

Script errors are not fatal by default. If you want the job to be aborted you’ll need to call fatalError:
