Unable to install workflow on Windows 10 64 bit

I am unable to install PPWorkflow-8.6.1-Off-line on my Windows 10 64 bit.

The installer says that it is about to install Microsoft Visual C++ 2008 x86 MFC SP1 Security Update (9.0.3072961619 but it can not be installed. It says: “Error: please use Windows update to manually install this update. PlanetPress Worflow 8 Setup can’t continue”.

I have full administrator privileges and I temporary disabled my AV.

The system is up to date. I think I can not install the security update manually on my machine.

What could I do ?

Have you tried downloading and installing the security update directly from Microsoft?

I didn’t try because I saw that Windows 10 is not a supported platform for this update.
