Total page numbers from Metadata

Hello,

We are currently using a script to capture the total number of pages in a batch PDF, which works great. However, we would also like to account for the back side of odd-numbered pages (e.g., for duplex printing) in the total page count.

We already have the “Pages Printed” value available from the DataMapper. Is it possible to combine this metadata in to a %Job variable so it can be saved to a file?

Are you looking for statistics on jobs generated by OL Connect? If so, we introduced a Job Statistics task in OL Connect Workflow version 2025.1. This includes information on the number pages and metadata set via the Job Preset, see What’s new in OL Connect 2025.1

Not entirely sure if that would solve things for your case.
