The & in a translatable piece of text is not recognized

I have a template with the text “Service & Requirements” that I want to translate in another language. I have used data-translate=“” in the tag and added the specific text to the Translations section. Normally when I hover over something in the Translations section it is highlighted in green in my designer preview; except for this item.
Other items are highlighted just fine but not this one. When I remove the & and change the translation it works fine.
I already tried & and && to check if I maybe need to escape it properly but this does not seem to work.
How can I make sure that the & is recognized properly?

That should work since it looks at inner HTML, but I don’t have access to my laptop so I’m not able to test it.

Hi Sander. I found this out not soon after I posted the question. Unfortunately all my posts need to be approved first and it took a long time for that so I had no way of marking my post as solved. Ow, and I can no longer change the title of the post afterwards so I am also unable to mark it as solved.
