Some questions regarding some of the plugins and server

Hi,

I have a few questions regarding some of the plugins for OL Connect Automate:

  1. data mapping node - Is it possible to have the DM configuration in the Properties accept a variable (e.g. msg.datamapper)?
  2. paginated content node - Is it possible to have the Template in the Properties accept a variable (e.g. msg.template)?
  3. I noticed that, when changing my workflow the Datamapper only shows a datamapper that I just uploaded to the server. There was another one there that I have worked with for a little while. Is it possible that they are removed from the server after a certain period? It is probably nothing special and if I enter the exact name it will still work ok but I just wanted to check.
  4. Is it also possible to use the old OL Connect Classic templates with Automate?

For questions 1 and 2 I missed the hint tips and so what I asked is already possible, so they can be skipped.

  1. It is likely that the configuration was as temporary resources. These are removed at some point by the Clean Up Service. When using the “file store upload”-node make sure to set the “file duration” to Permanent.
  2. We didn’t test this with templates of the initial release but templates created in versions like 2024.1 or later should work.

Hi Erik,

For item 4 I meant the old ptk / ptz files, for which in OL Connect Workflow you would use the Create PDF/VT plugin.
