[Solved] How to open two designer instances?

We are in the process of updating several datamappers and templates.

To ease the transition we made a “reference” datamapper and template.

How can we launch two Designer instances so that we can switch back and forth from two different pairs of datamappers and template configurations?

Having to do File->open recent to switch back and forth between the configurations is kinda messy and is leading us to errors.

The current version of the Connect Designer doesn’t allow for that nor does the Workflow Configuration tool.

You could have two VM, each with its Connect Designer and the you could switch between the two.

Since you have unlimited number of Connect Designer, that won’t involve any cost, other than time to setup your two VM.
