Recently, after the upgrade to the newest version, we have noticed a slowdown in downloading speed from sftp server. It takes about 30 secs for a 100kb pdf. It is too long and when you consider we have 44k files to download, it would take 6 days while if do it with winscp it takes approximately 6hrs.
Can someone help?
Can you let us know please by executing which Workflow plugin this issue occurs? Does it occur by executing the Input SFTP/FTPS Workflow plugin or the Run Script Workflow plugin, for example?
Can you also let us know please from which version PlanetPress Connect Workflow has been upgraded to the newest version, which is version 2023.1 at the moment?
We have rewritten the SFTP plugins for Connect Workflow 2022.2. At the same time, we have integrated them directly in Workflow rather than having them available as a separate download.
It is no secret that there were more than a few shortcomings in the previous generation of those plugins. We have looked at all the reported issues to make sure that the new ones were an improvement across the board.
If you have experienced the slowdown when migrating to the newer generation, which implies a manual change to the Workflow configuration as both generations are distinct plugins, then it looks as if we may have missed one use case.
If you would kindly open a support ticket with the appropriate information as to how we can reliably reproduce the issue, or at the very least provide enough information so that we can figure this out, that would be very appreciated.
