Setting up a Tracking Sheet

We run xml files every day through workflow, and these xml files spit out many different variants of PDF files based on Language (EN or FR).

For each xml file, there are numerous different PDF files.

I would like to create a section that is a Tracking Sheet that will:

  1. List and name all the PDFs that have been rendered

  2. Add page counts, and some calculations (i.e. numbers of impressions), number of sheets

For example,

NAME of files Page Counts No. of imps Record Counts
1234_EN.PDF 14 14 7
5678_FR.PDF 26 26 13

Is there a way for me to do this?

I think I can use metadata info, but I’m not quite sure how to bring this back through PresConnect.

Thanks,

CC

I guess it is possible to achieve this; however the way to achieve it will depend on a whole lot of other parameters.

If you are only interested on how to pass variables from Workflow to Designer, there is a How To guide which explains how this is done here: http://learn.objectiflune.com/en-us/pres-connect/howto/passing-workflow-variables-to-designer

For questions like this one, I would definitely recommend opening a Support case with your local support team and send an example XML file.
