I am having problems getting printshop mail files to work within Workshop. The workflow operates but the output only produces 2 records from the data and it has the Printshop Mail watermark across it - indicating that licence is not valid. I have tried Windows Server 2012, Server 2012 R2, Server 2012 R2 Essentials - each version has the same problem. Printshop Mail is installed on the server and the dongle is in place. When I run PSM it works fine and shows a production licence but I cannot get Workshop to use it.
Is anybody else using this feature and have you had the same problem?
Does your dongle have the Automation option added to it? The Production licence does not include it by default, and it is necessary to run Automation through the Workflow tool.
It does not have automation enabled but I have been assured by support that it is not necessary - I am not sure about this though as it would suggest that this is exactly what it does. Do you use printshop mail files in Workshop?
I think maybe there was a miscommunication to whomever you spoke to on the Support team, because the Automation licence is required to print through the Workflow module. That is its only purpose of this licence.
I have confirmed this information with the PrintShop Mail product manager.
