Reading text under a white box - clearing data

I use Connect to make a pdf (from a source pdf). I put a white box over a bunch of the data that I don’t want to print. I then run it through connect again to put on some final counts, etc. However, when I try to use mapping the second time around, it is still reading the data that I have under the white box from that I put on there- messing up the data that I put on there. You can’t see the stuff under the white box, but it is still there. I can’t read it in, because it grabs the data under the white box also. Is there a way to “clear” data at certain positions, instead of just putting a white box over it so it doesn’t print?

As far as I know it is not possible to remove data in an area of a pdf. Even tools like GhostScript do not offer this functionality.
