PDF/A-3 - ZUGFeRD input

Hello,

i am very new to PDF/A-3 datamapper.

Our IT-department wanted to know if it is possible to use a PDF/A-3, ZUGFeRD invoice as input in a datamapper, or should we use the pdf-datamapper?

You can use PDF/A-3 but you will not be able to access the XML metadata inside the file. The DataMapper considers the PDF/A-3 as a standard PDF.
