Output Creation Error

Strange one.

When trying to proof print a print context template I get the following error:

An unspecified error occurred which was caused by LoggedApplicationException: There was an error running the output creation process caused by There was an error initiating to the output creation process caused by ApplicationException: null (SRV000041) (SRV000001)

For background, what I am attempting to do is by using a PDF Datamapper (Statement) I extract the transactional data, build the DMS integration URL in PlanetPress Workflow, send it back to Designer via Runtime Parameters and insert the hyperlink into the document.

PlanetPress Connect Designer version 2022.1.5.11752
PlanetPress Connect Workflow version 2022.1.5.4348

Dev and Production Server use the same versions. Dev server license is NFR.

The preview gives me exactly what I want to see.

When I try and proof print, I get the aforementioned error.
Troubleshooting has revealed that when I configure the print context background to None the proof print completes successfully.

Any ideas why this might be happening?

If you think it works without background PDF, try enabling the PDF option “Pass-through PDF resources” in the output (or if already activated, deactivate this option).

Small caveat. The document does not open properly in Adobe. Error given is …

… and then opens without the background PDF image.

It opens as it should with the Adobe plugin on Chrome and with Power PDF.

There might be an issue with the original PDF. If you have Adobe Acrobat Pro, there is a Preflight option that you can use to run a PDF syntax verification. It might be available in Acrobat standard as well, though I am not sure about this.
