One of those moments when you should have read the error that popped up. I was configuring a process and a error popped up when I hit run in debug. The debug was stuck on the folder capture so I closed Workflow and accepted to terminate debugging. After reopening Workflow the Processes pane is gone and I don’t see a option to enable it again for viewing.
I must be missing something obvious. See bellow screen.
With the latest version of Connect, you can set two different Views for your Workflow config: one for designing your processes and one for debugging them. When you start debugging step-by-step, the panels are automatically re-arranged to use the Debugging view. Re-arrange them to your liking while you’re still in debug mode. When you stop debugging, the panels will revert to the default Design view (which you can also rearrange)
Next time you start debugging, the Debug view will kick in once more, using your last settings.
The reason we implemented this is because in Debug view, there are certain panels that really are irrelevant (the plugin bar, for instance) and others that you may want to enlarge (the message panel, for instance) while in Design view you have no use for the Debug Information panel and you may want to enlarge the actual Process panel.
Note that at any point in time, you can reset both views to their default, identical settings by launching the Configuration Tool while maintaining the CTRL key pressed down.
Thanks Phil. I tried the option where you said I must run debug and step through and then rearrange the panes but I ended up with more errors and eventually every pane and window in Workflow was gone. I could not even close Workflow without killing it via task manager.
These screw ups have been known to occur from time to time, especially if you use different monitor configurations or a docking station with your laptop. As long as you remember the CTRL key is there to save you, you should be fine!
