Missing Printer Fonts

We print on a Canon i300 and there is a font replacement setting that can be toggled on/off.
When a font doesn’t exist on the printer, it will replace it with Courier. Is there a way to get the printer to print a font even if it doesn’t exist on the printer, or will we always need to add the font to the printer to make sure it will use the correct font? Wasn’t sure if there were any settings in designer that would allow the fonts to be printed correctly even if the printed doesn’t have them.
Thanks,

You should ensure fonts are present on the server which is creating the output and then you can set the output preset to embed fonts.

Thanks Jim. Would there be some sort of error that happens in Connect if the server doesn’t contain the font it is trying to embed if that option is selected?
