MariaDB will not start during install

I cannot get the MariaDB to start during install, log states The Windows Virtual Service Account needs to have log on as a service rights

The account I attempt to use does have this right, it runs the other server (version 2020.1) so a MySQL database not Maria.

I have tried the admin account of the administrator and my service account that runs the old server, both give this same issue, the software installs but MariaDB has not started at installation.

It is driving me crazy, any idea how to overcome this?

First of all, welcome to our online community!

As stated in te log, please make sure that the virtual service account under which the MariaDB Server is running does have the Log on as a service permission.

A possible reason for this issue could be because there are group policies in place that are removing this permission from the virtual service account OLConnect_MariaDB, created by the OL Connect installer.
