Hello, we have just installed the OL - Connect Professional Version 2025.1.1 and we wxpected to have the embedded MariaDB database upgraded to a vaklid (Not outdated) Version.
The MariaDb installed version was the 11.3.2 version .
But, our lifecycle management systems have detected that this version is outdated, with an end of life date on may, 2024.
Is it correct?,
Would it be possible to update the MariaDB database included in OL - Connect to a supported version?

Hello all, I have analysed the Information you sent us regarding this topic, and realised that MariaDB version 11.7 has its End of Support date on 2025-02-12 (which becomes it in an “outdated” release as well).
Could I ask you to integrate in the OL Connect vers. 2025.2 the MariaDB with version 11.4 which has its EoS at 2029-05-29 (it would be the best), or the one with version 11.8 (EoS at 2028-06-04) ?
Please consider these options as preferable to incorporating a version of MariaDB that is no longer supported.

At the time of updating our third-party dependencies for the Connect 2025.2 release, MariaDB 11.7.2 was the current latest release available. These dependencies tend to be updated early in the release cycle to allow sufficient QA testing to occur.
Users are not required to use the MariaDB version distributed with Connect and may use whichever the current version of MariaDB is available at time of installation. Using a version of MariaDB not distributed with Connect is fully supported by ObjectifLune support.
It can be noted that Connect 2026.1 is currently under development and will be distributed with MaraiDB 11.8.5.
