Manual installation of Printer Driver on a remote server

Customer would like to manually install the OL Printer driver on a server that can’t connect to the PlanetPress Server. The notion is to put the Postscript files that are generated into a SFTP folder and OL Connect would download the file from there.

Can I simply take the PlanetPress Printer installer from the ISO and install it on their application server?

No, you need a receiving end, and that receiving end is Workflow.

They would only use the OL driver to generate generic Postscript.
Their security department apparently does not allow printer shares on application servers.
Perhaps they will allow a local printer that print to a LPD queue in workflow using the OL driver
