There is a button to show edges of divs, tables, etc.
Actually the tooltip is wrong. On startup the edges are hidden and I have to always click this button to show them. During development I need them shown way more often than not.
How can I make the “show edges” option the default one? I could not find anything in preferences.
Can you let us know please why the tooltip shown is wrong? The reason why I am asking this is because when I hover over the inactive Show Edges button it shows Show Edges (Ctrl+H) as tooltip and when I hover over the active Show Edges button it shows Hide Edges (Ctrl+H) as tooltip, which sounds normal to me.

There is unfortunately no such option available for the Show Edges menu item.
When Designer is freshly started, it shows “hide edges”. After clicked once the tooltip seems to be correct in any state, so that’s a minor problem, I think.
That there is not option to show edges as default is very annoying.
When Designer is freshly started, it shows “hide edges”.
Does the icon also have the blue background and border, which show that it is active, at this moment?
Can you let us know please which version of PlanetPress you are using? The reason why I am asking this is because I cannot reproduce this behaviour via the PReS Connect version 2023.1 Designer application.
Thank you for sharing the software version you’re using.
Can you let us know please in what kind of situation not having such option available as the option to be able to have the option Show Edges enabled by default can very annoying and is way more problematic?
I already explained that above. I need the borders while developing. and have to activate them each and every time I start the software. Good UX would be an option in preferences to allow that.
Quick update. This will be changed in OL Connect 2023.2. The Show Edges option’s state is saved within the application, and when you open or create new templates, the application maintains the previously set state.
