I have done several tests but I always get the same error in the previous plugin, the “render email content” one. This plugin doesn’t have many options and doesn’t have identification against the connect server, yet it gives me the following error:
I have never used the Mailjet plugin before, but I understand that the error is produced before it is executed. I can’t find a description of the error in the knowledge base.
Can someone help me resolve the error in the Render plugin?
The online documentation for the Render Email Content task pretty much answers all your questions.
In essence: the connection parameters are taken from the Workflow Preferences. The task can only work if your license allows you to send emails. And you must ensure the version of the tasks you are using matches that of Workflow.
To check if your license allows for emails, in Workflow click on Help>Software Activation and then click on the information button located to the right of the Magic Number. Make sure the OLConnect>Server>MergeEngine.Email.email value is set to “any”.
Thank you very much, Phil. We have found the problem. Although the data was loaded in the workflow preferences and our license allows sending emails, we detected an error in the password (which was not visible at first glance). We have resolved the problem (with your help). Very grateful.
