I am trying to use a couple of fonts from googles font family “inter”
When installing the font the text on screen shows correct but then when you print to PDF it comes out as times new roman.
When you then pull the fonts in to the fonts folder in Designer then change to that font it shows straight away as times new roman ?
I have tried changing the font family in the CSS and creating new RCSS but none of this has worked
When you installed the font on your machine, did you installed it for All users?
Yes it was installed for all users, It seems to be okay for other fonts we have installed but seem to be having an issue with this one
When you look on the Messages or Preflight Result tabs, does it show an error or warning related to that font?
In any case, I suggest you open a technical support ticket through our website. An agent will try and reproduce the behavior and escalate it should the need arise.
I believe this font is not working because it is a so called “variable font”. Going to run some tests with that. I guess the internal browser does not know how to handel those.

I can confirm that variable fonts do not work in the current version of OL Connect. Ran a quick test on a future version (post 2023.2 release), that version does support it (no eta yet).
