Hi eveyone,

With Pres no longer be supported, most of printing company taking PresConnect as a next generation of Pres.

Compare to PRes, even PresConnect is much more powerful than it, however the processing speed for PresConnect is slower than Pres, especially when processing large mount records.

What are the main factors affecting the speed of running datamapper and creating content?( Those two take most of time )

So in general, is there any way to speed them up?
Such as change some settings( multi task engine? ) or even upgrading CPU and RAM?

Very important is a fast hard disk (e.g. M.2 SSD).
The better the hardware the faster the content/output creation (CPU, RAM).

To speed up things you can play with the server configuration. There you can set more engines and more RAM. All other things are up to the quality of the hardware (CPU speed).

You can additionally check if the Datamapper implementation is implemented optimally. Perhaps something can be optimized there to achieve faster processing.
