We’ve identified an issue affecting upgrades made with the OL Connect Automate Beta 0.9.x installer. When upgrading an OLCA instance that was installed to a custom application path (i.e., not the default C:\Program Files\Objectif Lune\OL Connect Automate), all files on the installation drive are deleted.
This issue is resolved in the upcoming OL Connect Automate 1.0 installer, releasing November 19, 2025, alongside OL Connect 2025.2.
Possible workarounds:
- Uninstall OL Connect Automate via Add or Remove Programs in Windows, then reinstall using the latest 0.9.19 installer.
- Wait for the OL Connect Automate 1.0 installer
- If you only need to update the nodes, consider doing so via the Manage Palette option in Node-RED for now.
