Howto use database query in option (dropdown)?

Hi,

I have a SQL database filled with several adresses. I can do a database query and export to xml (or json) in workflow.

Now I want to use this output to load in a option value in the designer.
Which is the best way to do this? And do you have an example for me?

Have you taken a look at this? Database Lookups from DataMapper - OL® Learn

You could just do the database query directly in your datamapping.
