How does printing to pdf from designer effect processes running on the server

Hi there,

Just wondering if there is any issues with printing to pdf directly from designer via the server when there are other processes running on in workflow or on the server?

Would this be considered as an okay use practice? Or should we be running most/all of our work though workflow/server?

You can print from several designers parallel to Workflow processes (everything goes through Connect Server). You just need to setup your server configuration correctly to support multiple parallel processings/outputs. If there are too many output processes at the same time on the server some outputs have to wait until merge/weaver engines are free for them.
