Errors saving Data Maps

I have one particular user with a recurring issue. After a week or so of use, she’s no longer able to save data maps. She gets an error with the name of the data map followed by “This file is currently not available for use on this computer”.

We have tried various fixes:

  1. Uninstalled and Reinstalled Connect on different workstations etc, and it will resolve for a while, and then happen again.
  2. Reset her Connect Workspace back to default and it will resolve it for a while.
  3. Delete Connect Temp Files
  4. Install the latest version fresh of Connect and again resolved it for a while.

Is this a known issue with a resolution, or do I need to open a Support Ticket?

I did a bit of checking in our support systems and we haven’t seen this message before. As you’ve already done several of the steps we would try as well. It might be worth though checking if resetting her user profile on the PC in question clears the issue and if there are any security updates or profile changes that are being applied that could explain the issue. If you can’t identify anything like that I’d advise opening a support ticket on this one.

It appears the issue is with saving to the Desktop with Windows 10 “Roaming Profiles” installed.
