Designer: Barcode EAN-13 not valid

Hello

We try to use the EAN 13 Barcode type in Designer, but de generated Output is not a valid generated Barcode. Its not readable with our handscanner and our testing platform.

See attached Image with the generated barcode side by side. The valid barcode is from esko dynamic barcode plugin in illustrator. Somehow the lines are not the right size.

Why does Designer not generate valid output for this type of code?

Using my phone I was able to read both barcodes.
And just to make sure, I recreated an EAN 13 barcode with the same value in Designer and was able to scan it successfully.

I am now a bit flabbergasted because i did recreate the file (which i did already in the morning, because the issue is on a station of work mate) an now its working just fine?!
