Waiting until after launching workflow to press & hold CTRL-SHIFT worked, but not pressing them in advance.
I’m glad to hear that you were able to solve the issue you were facing.
Please note that holding down the Shift key is not required; Holding down the Ctrl key is more than sufficient.
You were also not able to solve this error by executing the following steps?
When we held the CTRL key before clicking on the Workflow shortcut, the Workflow would never launch. We had to time pressing the CTRL (we also press SHIFT) until right after we double clicked on the workflow shortcut. This might have something to do with the remote access method to the server.
It would be nice if a reset option was added to the interface or preferences that would reboot the configuration tool or clear out what had to be cleared out and then manually re-launch.
Uomo,
Here’s a quick trick I use for myself. It is not official, so don’t tell anyone where you got it from…
Once you’re satisfied with how your GUI is configured, open Regedit and go to HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Objectif Lune\PlanetSuite\PlanetWatch\8.0
Right-click on that key and select Export
, then save the resulting .reg
file somewhere.
Whenever you want to restore your GUI to what it was at that stage, just double-click on the .reg
file.
Mind you, this will also revert other options you may have changed in your Workflow configuration tool, so be careful with it.
And remember: ssssshhhhhhhhhhhhh…
