Connect Designer

We have made the master Page in Connect designer. It was saved properly and we have also used that in Workflow. In the workflow it has given us proper results.
But today when I tried to reopen that whole master page set up is not visible.
We are using connect designer version 2023.0.1.
Is it some kind of a bug?
how can I revive the template?

Hello @djinkal,

Can you let us know please what you mean by, and I quote, “is not visible”? For example, is the entire content of the master page gone (also in source mode) or, does the content exist but is it litterally not vissible?

Let’s also try to recap the steps you have executed before the issue occurred.

So you:

  1. Launched the Designer application
  2. Created a new template or opened an existing one
  3. Applied some changes to the master page
  4. Reviewed the changes made by viewing the master page in preview mode
  5. Saved the changed template
  6. Sent the changed template to Workflow
  7. Applied the changed template to the Create Print Content task
  8. Executed the Create Print Content task in either debug or service mode
  9. Checked the output

Are these the steps you have executed approximately?

Yes, The entire content is gone even in source mode.
We have followed each and every step you have mentioned.
Even we have taken the test run for workflow using that template only. Output of workflow was also as per our expectation.
Everything was perfect.
Just today I opened that same template to make some additional changes and it was like previous master page is empty, just with the header and footer. Other details are missing.

If you are still able to produce the expected output on the Worklfow side, then you may want to copy the template send to Workflow and open that one. The *.OL-template file can be found in the below directory.

Caution: Make sure to copy it and not move it.

%PROGRAMDATA%\Objectif Lune\PlanetPress Workflow 8\PlanetPress Watch\OLConnect\Template
