Using PlanetPress Suite plugins with PlanetPress Connect

I’m wondering if the PlanetPress Suite plugins will work in PlanetPress Connect?
Specifically the Binary Filter, but also others in general and if it recommended.

I was a PP7 user and have been using Connect for a while now. I have not seen any Workflow plugins that don’t work with Connect. Obviously some plugins that use a PP7 template cannot use a Connect template. But Connect has its own plugins too. FYI I use the Binary Filter plugin all the time.

Hi.

Sharne is right. We made sure that all plugins that used to work in PlanetPress 7 still work in Connect Workflow, except where it obviously doesn’t make sense, like using Connect templates where a PP7 template is expected.

Speaking of PP7 templates, those too are fully supported. Therefore, there is no rush to port existing (and perfectly working!) PlanetPress documents to Connect. You don’t go re-saving all your Word documents when you update Office, right? :wink: Same thing here. You can concentrate your efforts where it is most valuable for you.

You can even use PlanetPress Design 7 to update an existing template and send the updated version straight to Connect Workflow like you did previously.
