Text in masterpage only print on the first page

Hi,

i have a very simple question. I want a text which is definded in the masterpage, only to be printed on the first page. I know the solution should be easy, but I actually do not find where I can set this.

Is there a way to do this?

in the print section properties (sheet configuration) you could set up what masterpage is printed on the first page; so just have a separate masterpage for the first page with your special first page text and another one for the following pages.

The easiest option would be applying the respective master page to the first sheet position. This is handled in the Sheet Configuration dialog. To set a master page for the first sheet position:

  1. Right mouse click the print section, the contextual menu appears
  2. Choose: Sheet Configuration…
  3. Uncheck the “Same for all postioions” option
  4. Select the Master Page for the Sheet Sheet and First Sheet. Select a different master or None for the other sheet positions.
  5. Click OK.
