Tabloid 11x17

I am converting a Planet Press 7 job.

It is 5.5 x 8.5 card prints 4up on a 11x17.

I have the card designed, however when I create the outpreset and choose postscript I do not see a tabloid option in the final media size. So I selected custom.

I cannot choose 11x17. I can only choose 11 x 16.5354 .

When I try that in work flow I get a message saying image will not fit on imposition.

So how do I create an 11 x17 job with 4 up? This was pretty simple in planet press 7

This may be related to the printer definition used in your output preset. If the printer definition specifies that the printer does not support Tabloid, then that may the cause for that size not being available.

Perhaps this can be verified by trying to use PDF or one of the generic PS printers. If one of those works, then it’s the printer definition. In that case, if you are sure the printer does support Tabloid while the printer definition says it doesn’t, either the printer definition will need to be updated or perhaps there is another printer definition available that matches the printer better.

I am using the generic PS printer that came with Connect. I have tried both Generic PS Level2 and Generic PS Level3.

So where where can I get additional printers from?
