In order to handle silent installation for this product Connect Send Printer Driver 1.4.5.304 for enterprise deployments, as per the information available on your website OLCS_Printer_Driver_Silent_Setup_1.4.5.304.exe (silent setup.exe tool) would be required to proceed. Could you please let me know from where can I download this tool, as I am unable to find it within the resources section on your website.
Looking forward to hearing from you at the earliest.
You can download the OL Connect Send silent installer via the Objectif Lune Partners’ Portal (link) website. After you’ve logged in you have to go to the “Software Installers” webpage (sidebar menu).
I tried using the download option via the Objectif Lune Resource Centre link as the Portal link didn’t seem to work at my end. However after clicking the Resource Centre link which is…https://download.objectiflune.com/resources/plugins/OLCS_Client_Silent_Installation_Package_1.6.6.63975.zip, it’s shows up as OLCS_Client_Silent_Installation_Package_1.6.6.63975.zip ( and not as OLCS_Printer_Driver_Silent_Setup_1.4.5.304.exe, which seems to be the required installer version) and also I am facing issues getting this webpage opened at my end.
Is there any other way around to fetch the required installer for the Silent Setup tool for 1.4.5.304. Please advise.
I tried executing OLCS_Printer_Driver_Setup_1.4.5.304.msi, keeping the supporting files OLCS_Printer_Driver_Silent_Setup_1.4.5.304.exe and OLCSClient.ini files within the same folder as required. But I found that the installation fails while triggering with the silent approach.
Details fetched from the log:
Open HKLM (64bit) - SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\Print\Printers
RegOpenKeyEx with RegKey 'SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\Print\Printers'
<-OpenRegistryKey - returnStatus = 0
<-(CA) SetAdvancedPrinterSettings - FAILED (returnStatus RegQueryValueEx =2)
<-(CA) InstallDriver - FAILED
Could you please advise on the possible options to get this sorted out, also are there any additional details to be added within the OLCSClient.ini file to combat this error.
