PP Messenger starting

Hey guys,

I was ready with my Designer resources ready to be sent to Workflow, and I realized they are not communicating well.

Did anyone encountered this behavior?

In Designer when I execute the task Send to Workflow, I receive the usual success message.

Looks like my resources are not sent to workflow anymore…

Any ideas?

We’ve seen this before, and we have found that this can sometimes be caused by a corrupt MS-Access driver (Messenger uses an Access Database in the background). This can occur after an update to Windows, Office, or Office 365.

You can check if that’s really the source of the issue by doing the following:

  • Open the Workflow Configuration Tool
  • Go to Preferences > PlanetPress Capture
  • Make sure the Use ODBC Database option is NOT ticked
  • Click Reset Database
  • If you get the error message “Unable to load odbcji32.dll”, then the issue is caused by the DB Engine.
