Hello @JohnPPrice,

I assume that C:\OL Send\ is the folder in which you’ve stored the installer for the OL Connect Send Printer Driver, is that correct?

Concerning the shared potential threat I would like to inform you that I haven’t come across any such reports of the OL Connect Send Printer Driver being flagged as a threat. Can you let us know please if your anti-virus software has been updated recently? It could be that one of the dependencies shared by the driver with other software is being flagged. However there is currently no known vulnerability with the OL Connect Send Printer Driver.

Hi Marten

The Connect Send was being installed from C:\OL Send.

I tried to set up exceptions in Kaspersky and it would allow me to go further each time but then would fail and delete the “suspicious object” and I would have to start again. In the end I removed Kaspersky and replaced it with AVG Free.

When trying to installed the driver, AVG Free then reported suspicious objects but proceeded to scan them, reporting them safe, rather than delete them as Kaspersky did.

I don’t pretend to be an expert on AV systems etc but it maybe worthwhile for OL to reach out to Kaspersky, there is a facility for owners / developers to do just that.

All working fine now, connect made from Printer to Workflow.
