Microsoft will only allow Oauth 2.0 on smtp and POP connection from 2-10-2022.

This is available through the Office 365 tasks. The current version of those plugins requires application permissions, which can admittedly be a bit scary for some organizations. But the upcoming version of the plugins will also allow delegated permissions to be used (meaning you can access a specific account’s mailbox only).
The plugins will become available with version 2022.1.
