nested dynamic table and page breaks

Hi - I am working with a nested dynamic table - Participants → Fund Details. I need it to keep all the data for the same participant and fund details together. Currently the page break is breaking up that data. My structure looks like this. Its repeating correctly. I just cant seem to get the page break right. Any ideas?

Which version of OL Connect are you using?

I am using 2026.1 now.

So the Participant and the accompanying Funds are always one block, page breaks should not happen inside these blocks, is that correct?

I ran a quick test by setting class names to the participant and fund rows like this:

	<tbody>
		<tr class="participant" data-repeat="Participant">
			<td>{{Name}}</td>
			<td>{{SSN}}</td>
		</tr>
		<tr class="fund" data-repeat="Participant.FundDetails">
			<td colspan="2">{{Fund}}</td>
		</tr>
	</tbody>

Next I added the folllowing CSS to context_print_styles.css:

.participant {
	page-break-after: avoid;
}
.fund {
	page-break-after: avoid;
}
.fund.__ol__last-record {
	page-break-after: auto;
}

So bascially rows are not allowed to split across pages unless the fund row is the last in that group (__ol_last-record is an internal class name automatically set by OL Connect).

Let me know if this works for you.

Hello - yes, with a little tweaking that worked great. I was trying to use the page-break but not in the right spots. It wouldn’t work if I used the data-repeat=“record.Participant.FundDetails” or data-repeat=“Participant.FundDetails”. It worked once I removed ‘record’.

Again - thank you!!!

My bad, record shouldn’t be there indeed. I’ve corrected my sample in case someone stumbles across this in the future. Glad it works for you!
