Microsoft 365 Email Input - Filename Problem

Hi all,

i have flow to get email from M365 and save the attachment to a folder if it is a pdf file.
but some of the emails got the below error :-

22:31:55.147 [0025] W3831: Invalid filename : c:\programdata\objectif lune\planetpress workflow 8\planetpress watch\spool\59.tmp\010ef0?1868s349\010ef0?19dabf4b.pdf

22:31:55.147 [0025] Load External File: W1603 : Plugin failed - 22:31:55 (elapsed time: 00:00:00.000)

22:31:55.147 [0026] W3001 : Error while executing plugin: W3223 : Copying file C:\ProgramData\Objectif Lune\PlanetPress Workflow 8\PlanetPress Watch\Spool\59.tmp\spl010EF0I1ENLPW8421B4C9B.xml to D:\PO\SOURCE1\XXX\010ef0?19dabf4b.pdf failed: Error code 123: The filename, directory name, or volume label syntax is incorrect.

pls help.

It seeems you have question marks “?” in your filename which is invalid under Windows.

I think such file name were generated by the “Microsoft 365 email input” plugin, it is not the original file name or created by me.

Hi @joeytsui,

Is this occurring with a single file or is it occurring with more than one file?

If it is occurring with one file for instance, have you tried using the Rename plugin within Workflow to rename the file itself?

If the Microsoft 365 email input plugin generates the file name like this, please open a support ticket via our website.
