Magic Number change after moving my VM

Hi Everyone,

I 'm working on a Windows 2016 Server edition standard. This server is a virtual server running on VmWare Exsi 6.5. But this Vmware host was realy too slow. Then I purchased a new VmWare Host. Move the Virtual Machine of my Serveur 2016 on the new Server. Power perfect, speed realy good but … My Magic Number change in OL, then now, My OL is not registred anymore… Is there a way to change back the magic number with the one that I had on my old Server ? Then My licence file will work. Or any Idea to fixed it quickly ?

Hi,
Unfortunately it is not possible to revert back to the original magic number. What you need to do is contact your local Customer Care department (in the case of the Asia Pacific region - customercare@au.objectiflune.com) and organise for a new licence to be generated for you using the new magic number.
