How to show a row of a detail table only on the first page?

end user has XML data, so there’s no way to know we are on the first page of content, so how might I hide a row in a detail table that they only want to see once per document?

I failed to see the relation between an XML data and not being able to know that you are on the first page of content.

Can you elaborate?
