Are you using the latest build of Connect released today? I ask because I’m about to upgrade. The devs would most likely have you update your Win 10 to its latest build too. (Build 1703) Just note that the installer for Connect 1.6.1 does not work on Win 10 Version 1703 but the latest Connect 1.7.1 addresses that issue. Perhaps wait for a OL dev to comment about your icon issue before making a move or open a support ticket if you have OL Care.

Is there a proxy on the machine? If there is, make sure to bypass the proxy server for local addresses.
Go to Windows Control Panel > Internet Options
Click on the Connections tab, then click on LAN Settings
If you are using a Proxy server, then also check the option “Bypass proxy server for local addresses”
Then close and restart PlanetPress Connect Designer
I’ll try to update to 1.7 soon.
I don’t use any proxy. I’ll try to update to 1.7 first and we will see
Yes, install the latest version 1.7.1 first and also allow it through your domain and private network firewall when\if prompted.
I just installed Connect Designer 1.7.1. However there was no prompt regarding firewall. Issue still occurs and I can’t see the icons.
I received some updates on my Windows 10 machine today and after restart I can finally see font icons in PP Connect Designer. Not sure what exactly helped, while my build version is still 1607.
