While re-arranging steps in my workflow process, an ‘Unknown’ step was generated by workflow which causes an error. How do I delete this step?

If you cannot delete it, I presume it’s the first task or last task (Input or Output) of the process. Those can not be deleted, but you can replace them by dragging a Input task or Output task on it. The dragged task can be taken from the Plugin bar or from another task in the process.
