How can I resolve a memory leak with splwow64.exe print driver host for 32bit applications?

Our site runs PlanetPress Production Version 7.5.2.7722 using windows print drivers on an a Windows 2008 R2 Service Pack 1 64bit VMware server.

A Microsoft patch was installed recently KB4048957 to this server and the splwow64.exe print driver host for 32bit applications (used by PlanetPress) began to create a memory leak significant enough to cause us to stop and start the service every 4 hours. We ended up backing out the patch and this resolved the issue. Microsoft identified a new patch to address the issue KB4054518 however the same memory leak occurs.

Does Objectiflune have a patch that will remediate the memory leak for splwow64.exe?

We unfortunately don’t have a patch for this as the issue is not in our software modules but rather stems from a Microsoft patch which itself attempts to fix an Intel vulnerability.

I guess we will have to wait for an additional fix on top of the latest fix.
