How and when to upgrade to Connect

If an end user owns PlanetPress Watch and Imaging v7.x what impact would there be if they wanted to upgrade to Connect?

Does Imaging 8.0 need to be purchased in addition to Connect or would they receive Imaging with Workflow 8.0 when they purchase the full version of Connect?

Hello Lou,

Please take a look at the PlanetPress® Connect 1.0 release notes, which contain information on having 7.6.1 and 8.0 on the same machine. They can coexist but some limitations apply.

Note that Workflow 8.0 is essentially 7.6.1 with a color scheme, the Connect tasks and some other tasks. As far as I know (someone may correct me on this), Imaging should work fine in 8.0.

Imaging is an option for Connect, just as it was with previous PlanetPress versions.

As far as I’m aware users with OL Care who have Imaging v7, will get Imaging v8 if and when the upgrade their workflow from v7 to v8.
