getting error when using PDF splitter - indicating file is damaged

Hi - I am using a very simple workflow. I have an input folder looking for *.pdf (this is a 9 page pdf). All I am doing is splitting it to one page per output and putting it in a folder. That is all. No other process involved. I am getting the below error. Does anyone know why? I have double checked to make sure my file is a pdf.

W3001 : Error while executing plugin: W3880 : Job file does not seems to be a valid PDF file: Error opening ‘C:\ProgramData\Objectif Lune\PlanetPress Workflow 8\PlanetPress Watch\Debug\debug25CC45CB.dat’: This file is damaged

Thank you

It’s possible that the PDF contains errors. You could try flattening the PDF in Adobde Acrobat which will correct errors and removes unnecessary layers or you could try the following in Workflow:

Set up a simple process: WinQueue Input with the Optimize resulting PDF option selected > Send To Folder

Then print your PDF to the PlanetPress Pinter Queue (it must be paused). The process will grab the PDF, optimize it and output to folder. Then try splitting the newly created PDF. If this works, then there was indeed an issue with the original PDF. Otherwise, please contact your local support team by submitting a ticket here.
