FTP changing UTF-8 to Latin-1

Hello, is the FTP Output task transforming the input spool file into a Latin-1 codepage? It seems that I receive a UTF-8 file in PlanetPress, send it via FTP to another server of ours and it doesn’t appear to be in UTF-8 anymore, but Latin-1.

In case this is true, how can I ensure that the file I receive in PP is passed through without altering it?

It shouldn’t make any changes to the file. However, if any other task prior to the FTP Output is writing to the file in any way, then that may cause the encoding to change. Can you attach before/after samples so we can check them out?
