there are two options to use fonts in Connect Designer:
Font installed under Windows
Font as resource in the design template
But what about the handling if the font is installed under Windows and present as resource in the design template? Which font file will be used with priority if both fonts have the same name etc.?
I did not find an information about it in the documentation.
If both are the same it doesn’t matter, does it?
And if both are different I guess they are presented in the font list differently as well, so whatever font you’ve selected from the list for a text object that will be attached.
You are right in that case. But what if both fonts have the same name but the drawn characters are different or other properties of the font?
Maybe you know the fonts “Helvetica” and “Frutiger”. We encountered too much errors in the past with these fonts where customers thought they use the original one but had installed one of the million edited ones.
