It would be a huge time-saver to be able to tell a Connect Design template to format EVERY “Currency” field to use a specific pattern. Same with Dates.
I’m working on a template now with over 48 currency fields and it’s tedious to set them all to the same custom pattern.
I don’t think so… wouldn’t that apply to all templates? What I’m looking for is PP7 “Object Inspector” functionality: the ability to select multiple scripts and apply the same formatting pattern to all of them at once.
I will make a request for this. It could be a simple check box added to the current Custom pattern that would allow to apply to all other fields (provided that they are currency for currency, dates for dates,etc…)
